About Sonia and Theophany School

Each year, we run to honor Sonia Daly Belcher, an educator and friend who unexpectedly passed away in 2008 at age 32 due to a heart condition, leaving behind her husband and 5 month old son. As a young 21 year old, she helped establish Theophany School, a pre-school and kindergarten program in Needham that provides excellence in early childhood education grounded in the Orthodox Christian faith.
